Meet the Team
We are a team of dedicated pilots, ready to do what it takes to make you fly

Jean Luc Pous
In the early 70s, eight years after the Algerian war, when the French still had a considerable presence in the country of my birth, my father took me to the airport in Oran, Algeria. It was a beautiful day and the airport was almost completely deserted. Suddenly, we heard a fighter taking off. For some unknown reason, as we watched, the pilot proceeded to fill the air above us with aerobatic maneuvers. It was a spectacular sight.
Somehow, that remarkable experience triggered my lifelong passion to be an aviator. I wanted to be in the sky. I wanted to be able to control an aircraft. Today, after 8,600 hours. (about half as a corporate aviator and the other half teaching), I am a very happy man. At least I am as long as I am not too far from the inside of a cockpit. My secondary need is to share my joy with others, so I became a certified flying instructor in 2005. In the pic below, you can see my happy smile in one of my favorite aircraft the CM170 (with Michael), after a flight.

Peter lives in Santa Fe with his wife, Lisa. Their three children and grandchildren leave nearby.

Michael Szczepanski
Whether you need a professional pilot, aircraft manager, or a flight instructor, Michael is the right choice. With almost 14,000 hours as a pilot across almost 30 years he has the experience necessary to provide safe and efficient operations.
Since learning to fly in 1994 with the Brown University Flying Club Michael’s passion for aviation has had an overwhelming influence on his life. He has flown skydivers, air ambulance, for an airline, overnight freight, and currently specializes in executive transportation in business aircraft and advanced flight instruction. With an eye for detail, Michael can ensure that every element of your flight is properly arranged and executed, every time.

Steven Kuluris
I am a newly certificated pilot on a journey to continuously learn and acquire additional flight ratings. My background as a mechanical engineer, specializing in aerodynamics, has provided me with a solid foundation that seamlessly intersects with my love for flying. Inspired by my grandfather, a seasoned marine pilot and mechanical engineer, I am determined to carry on the family legacy, combining engineering thinking with the art of flight.

Victor Porak de Varna, PhD
Dr. Vic is a recovering academic, consultant and entrepreneur who has realized his childhood dream: The love of flight. Without access and means to fly real airplanes, Victor used to build and fly RC model airplanes (anybody remember Graupner & Robbe) back in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where he grew up – experiencing design considerations and aerodynamic principles of airplanes from early on.
An educator, tinker and builder by heart and trade, Dr. Vic has a background in electrical engineering, information technology, communications and human potential & talent. He used to lecture and head a research facility at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.
Upon moving to the United States, Victor realized his dream of taking flight. In a short amount of time, Vic has earned his Private, Instrument, Commercial and CFI certificates and is ready to help you set your foot into the fascinating world of aviation and realize your dream of flight.
Victor speaks German, French and Spanish.
He lives in Santa Fe with his wife, Danielle and their two children.
